How to Enable Screen Recording on the iPad

Here are the steps to enable it:

Add Screen Recording to Control Center

Open the Settings app on your iPad.

Tap on Control Center in the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the More Controls (or "Controls Gallery") section.

Find Screen Recording (it looks like a solid circle inside a thin circle).

Tap the green plus sign (+) next to it to add it to the Included Controls section.

Start and Stop a Recording

Once the control is added, you can start a recording from any screen:

Open Control Center: Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen (where the battery icon is).

Start Recording: Tap the Screen Recording button (the circle icon). It will start a three-second countdownbefore recording begins. The status bar at the top of your screen will turn red (or show a red circle next to the time) to indicate you are recording.

Stop Recording:

Tap the red indicator (red time/circle) at the top of the screen and tap Stop in the prompt that appears.

Alternatively, open Control Center again and tap the red Screen Recording button.

The video is automatically saved to your Photos app.

How to Record with Audio (Microphone)

By default, the screen recording captures internal sounds (like app audio) but not your voice. To record your voice or external sounds:

Open Control Center (swipe down from the top-right corner).

Touch and hold the Screen Recording button (the circle icon).

A control panel will pop up. Tap the Microphone icon at the bottom to turn it on (it will turn red).

Tap Start Recording. Your voice, along with internal app audio, will now be recorded.
