How to Release the iPad from a Personal Apple ID Account Online

Follow these steps using a computer or another device with internet access:

Go to the Apple ID Account Page: Open a web browser (like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) and go to: https://appleid.apple.com/

Sign In: Sign in with your personal Apple ID (the email address) and password that was used on the iPad. You might need to enter a two-factor authentication code if you have that set up.

Find "Devices": Once you're signed in, look for a section called*"Devices"* on the left side of the page or near the bottom. Click on it.

Select the iPad: You'll see a list of all devices connected to your Apple ID. Find the iPad you want to release (it might be listed as "iPad" or "'s iPad" if you named it). Click on that iPad in the list.

Remove from Account: A new page will open with details about that specific iPad. Scroll down to the bottom. You should see an option that says*"Remove from Account"*. Click on this.
