Securly Page Stuck, Reloading, or Popping Up

If Safari gets stuck on a Securly page, keeps reloading the same page, or a Securly message keeps popping up, try these fixes.

Fix 1: Turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking

macOS:

  • Open Safari
  • Click on “Safari” at the top left of your screen
  • Click on “Settings…”
  • Click on the “Privacy” tab
  • Uncheck “Prevent cross-site tracking”

iOS/iPadOS:

  • Open the Settings app
  • Scroll down to Safari and tap on it
  • Scroll down to “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
  • Toggle it off so that it is white

Fix 2: Mac only: turn on Location Services for Safari


  1. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and make sure it is turned ON.

  2. In the same list, make sure Safari is turned ON.

  3. If it asks for an administrator's username and password and you don't have one, submit a ticket and a tech team member will help.

Fix 3: Sign in to your school Google account

Go to youtube.com or gmail.com and make sure you are signed in with your school account.
