How To Restrict Messages & FaceTime on Student iPads?

Parents have the ability to either restrict or allow text messaging in the Messages app and FaceTime video calls. Here's how to do it:

1. Sign in to PowerSchool with a Parent account (if you are a parent and do not have a parent account, you can request one here).

2. Once you are signed in, go to Student iPad (left side)

3. In the search field, search for " messages" and then click on Apply. Once you see "Restrict Messages and FaceTime" click on " Install App". This will install a restriction on the student iPad that will hide both the Messages and FaceTime apps. If you ever want to allow those apps, come back  and "delete" that same app restriction - those apps will then reappear.
