How To Restrict the Messages App on Student iPads?

Parents have the ability to restrict text messaging in the Messages app. Here's how to do it:

1. Go to https://go.vcschools.org/appletree
2. Enter the parent email address we have on file and click "Send Login Link". You will then receive an email with a link for Appletree.

3. Once in Appletree, search for Messages and then click Install App. It may take several minutes for the restriction to be applied but once it does, the Message app will disappear from the student's iPad.
